Kyoungmin,Kim / Steps for choosing a special gift / mon34

A book gift for the beloved one

Any gift given to a lover would please him or her, but a book present can be very special. By the act of choosing the book and by the book itself, it expresses ones love to the other. I remember giving a book for my friend's birthday. The book was called Essays in love. We could talk about it after we all read it. Hearing thoughts from whom you like is a pleasant thing to do. So I recommend to give books for special occasions or in ordinary days. To find a book that would mean much to both giver and the reciever, you should follow some steps. First, you should go to the library, bookstore or some on-line blogs to search books. In the library or in the bookstore, you can examine the book cover and go through some of the pages. Searching through on-line, you can refer to the comments of the readers who have already read it. Going over some books, you will find the right one to give. Secondly, you should read the book or unless start off some of the chapters. You can't judge the book by its cover. (As the proverb "literally" says.) So, read it yourself. And then, add a card or a short message inside the book. The message will make the gift more meaningful. Finally, check the special date and prepare the book beforehand. For example, you wouldn't want to miss one's birthday. Remembering the special date and keeping it is an important factor of giving presents too. So go on and pick a book for the loved one. You can show your affection towards the other as the book has special message you want to express, and the ideas to share.

  1. HI, Kyungmin. I have been given such a meaningful book by my wife : The Little Prince. Probably, my wife thought that I was an immature dreamer, and unfortunately, I am still a dreamer who has no interest in the world of adults. Kyungmin, you should certainly choose the right man who is realistic.^^; In this sentence, “We could talk about it after we all read it.”, you should remove could, because it hurts the accuracy. Just use the past tense, if you talked about the book with your friend. I agree that sharing thoughts and ideas about a good book with people whom I love is the best thing. Having a discussion about a serious topic, people can understand each other and make a strong solidarity. Bye, see you.
