Jung-In SIM / My life until now / Monday 11a.m.

Here I am simply as the results of the past that if you want to know about me, then let me tell you about my life and how it was like so far briefly. Thanks to my parents who always encouraged me to read a lot of books, I brought up while being surrounded with pile of books. And this leaded me to having interests in any linguistic things. I still really enjoy writing and reading and I can say the literature has been always with me. As I learned english at school, I came to be really into any foreign things, especially foreign languages. And English wasn't enough for me to satisfy myself, so I chose to learn French especially here at hufs where I can learn and get many foreign things easier than anywhere. Now I'm so glad that I got such a great opportunity here to learn English as well as French. I want to do my best to improve my languages so that I will be able to give something great to the world with this ability.

  1. Hi! My name is Ji Eun Lee.
I like your writing because it tells the most important activity of your life, learning languages. Your main points seems to mostly focuse on explaining your interest and how you got it with surrounded environment. I especially liked the line that says "literatue has been always with me." It emphasizes your interest more powerful than any other ones. However, I think the first sentence of introduction seems unnecessary. Also if you had included another story of your life besides learning languages, the writing could have been more strong and interesting.

I started to learn violin at school when I was 8 years old. At first, it was really hard to play it because whenever I tried to play it well, its sound wasn't like what I imagined to be. But thanks to instructors and my efforts, my playing become better. Though it's still pretty hard to keep practicing to be better, I will never quit for sure.
