Lee you na/My Life Until Now/Monday 11 a.m.

'My life until now'

Let me introduce myself first, my name is Youna Lee and I'm 20 years old. I born in 1993, 24th of March, at Seoul, Korea. I entered Jeongmok elementary school when I was 7 years old. I was a girl who likes to read a book and listen music. I learned several sports such as Taekwondo, swimming, table tennis, badminton, ballet, etc when I was an elementary school student. Also, I started to learn English, when I was 8 years old. There were many chances for me to learn various things when I was in elementary school so that I can broaden my sight. In 2005, I graduated elementary school and I entered Yangdong middle school. In middle school, I had quite difficult time. I experienced my first love and I was emotionally faltered since at that time I attained puberty. Moreover I had big stress that I must enter Foreign language high school. But anyway I overcame that period, and in 2008, I graduated middle school and entered Hangaram high school. In high school period, I met many good friends, teachers and made many happy memories. It was really hard to study for university entrance exam, but it was also unforgettable time of my life. However, when I failed all of my non scheduled admission to enter university, I was really depressed and frustrated. But I overcame it again with optimistic view. Through scheduled admission, I finally got accepted to HUFS. When I was a freshman, I think I enjoyed my campus life as much as I can. I met my friends a lot, I learned how to play acoustic guitar, I traveled Jeonlado, Korea, and so on. The year has changed, and I'm here now for taking this lecture.

  1. You described your life quite logically and I liked that you specifically explained what you did at certain time period. Your main points seems to be that you had both lots of memories and difficulties through your school life. Though eventually you overcame well and finally you're at HUFS. Something that you should improve is that I think it nees more explanation of how it was like before you entered elementary school.
Overall, the writing is well organized but maybe it's a bit narrative.

When I was a baby, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents since both of my parents worked. My grandfather said that I loved to read things. I read everything I saw, such as the number of cars or the sign of stores. Also, not like the other girls, I'm not interested in dolls but I like robots.

In high school period, I met many good friends, teachers and made many happy memories. Because of this time, I changed into bright and optimistic person. Though I had really hard time to study for university entrance exam, but it was also unforgettable and precious time of my life. However, when I failed all of my non scheduled admission to enter university, I was really depressed and frustrated. But I overcame it again with optimistic view. Through scheduled admission, I finally got accepted to HUFS. It seems like my life is repetition of joy and frustration.
