YoungHoon Kim/My Life Until Now/Mon 11a.m.

Through 22 years, I have had not only happy life but also encountered hardship. I was born in Seoul, Korea. I moved to Bundang when I was 6 years old. I spent my teenage life in this place, Bundang. I attended NaeJeong elementary and middle school. After that, I went to SeongNam Foreign Language High School and I majored in English there. During school life, I was elected as a class leader several times. Also I was active in clubs such as English broadcasting, English newspapers, and School magazine. In vacations, I traveled a lot with my family. I went to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. Also I liked to go to water parks in summer and ski resorts in winter. I think I had a quite happy life when I was little. When I was 20 years old, I encountered biggest difficulty ever. I failed to get admission from the university that I wanted so I needed to study for entrance exam again for a year. It was hard for me to get the higher score and the unpredictable future made me nervous. After 1 year, I took the test again and got acceptance from this university, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. I'm majoring in Business Administration and English Interpretation and Translation at the same time.

  1. Hi, my name is Hee June, Park. I think you keep K.I.S.S. Your writing is simple, so I can know your life clearly. But I think your emotions are less. If you fix that, your writing will be more interesting.\!

Also I was active in clubs such as English broadcasting, English newspapers, and School magazine. I was chief in School magazine club and I was proud of my magazine after it was published and distributed to all students. In vacations, I traveled a lot with my family. I went to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. I can’t forget all the things that I saw and felt there. It was amazing to be in sites which are totally different from Korea. For example, I went to “Ankor Wat” which is in Cambodia. It was a really huge temple and it was so impressive that I’m still overwhelmed by memory of its size. Also I liked to go to water parks in summer and ski resorts in winter. I usually went there with my friends and they became my best peers. I think I had a quite happy life when I was teenager. When I was 20 years old, I encountered biggest difficulty ever. Hello, Younghoon. I enjoyed reading this piece of writing about your life. It is very nice to meet a neighbor! I live in bundang, too, and I went to Sunae Middle school.
What I like about your piece of writing is that you described various aspects of your life. Where you grew up, activities you have done, likes and difficulties.
