Ji Eun Lee/ My special place/ Mon 11a.m.

Among many places, I still remember the piano lesson room where I used to practice. When I was in elementary school, I went to a piano institute for over 6 years. As soon as you enter the institute, there is a small room next to the door. The size of room is about a quarter of normal classroom. Inside through a transparent door, there is only an old brown piano and also black book shelf is placed next to it. The wallpaper is pink and flowers are illustrated all over it. If seen closely, there is scribbling made by students who came to play the piano. The room smells so bad that it even smells kind of mouldy. Since there is no window for ventilation, a bottle of perfume is placed on the top of piano. If you are inside the room, you can hear the piano sound that other students are playing from other different rooms. I can vividly remember this special place because it was where I spent most time of childhood playing the piano. Furthermore, I used to have a dream of becoming a pianist while practicing in the room. Therefore, this piano room is the one that gave me special meaning in my life.

  1. Hi!I'm Oh You Jeong
I think your writing has both the description of your piano institute room and the memory of your childhood. Of course it must be a tiny part of it, but I really like it. You did describe your piano institute room vividly so I could easily picture the room and the piano. I think you really cherished the piano and playing the piano must have been one of your favorite things to do. So I liked it!

  2. Hello, I'm Hakyung Chin.
I enjoyed reading your paragraph. You made it clear what you'll write about in the first sentence so I knew what to expect. What I liked about your paragraph is that you mentioned the room in detail and you described the scent and the sound. It made me feel that you have good feelings toward this room and I could cleary imagine the room.
